Freakin. Awesome. I live in Phoenix, AZ and I was back visiting family when my friends requested we come here for supper. The ambiance was classy but still has the laid back South Dakota vibe as there were people dressed up in sweatpants and sweatshirts. It was probably more laid back when we went since it was on a Tuesday evening.
Wood flooring, Edison bulbs on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. The food was amazing. I got the curry chicken risotto and my nephews got the Gouda Mac & cheese for $6...$6!!! I wish I was able to get the Kids Menu because the order was so big. The service was spot on and our waitress was super friendly.
This restaurant is something I would definitely see in downtown Phoenix and I was very impressed. Not something I would normally see in Aberdeen, SD but I would definitely come back, even to sit at the bar to watch my Packers play. Get, it Aberdeen! -

Stop by the Brass Kettle on my first night in Aberdeen. It has an eclectic menu with a great many dishes not seen in Phoenix. I went with the Brisket Hash Bread Bowl. I had the gravy on the side because I was unsure how the brisket would pair with the egg with a heavy beef gravy. The brisket was fantastic, and paired with the egg deliciously. I was a bit disappointed with the potatoes, as it seemed like they were frozen, rather than fried.
The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions, one if my first tests of a new place -

Not impressed. My husband ordered a $25 steak and it was overdone. He ordered medium rare and there was a little pink in the middle. Salad had one rotten grape tomato in it. I ordered Chicken cordon Blu and it was a chicken thigh on it. Menu said crispy chicken so I guess I should have asked if it was a breast instead of assuming. Won't be back.

Has been updated throughout the interior and is gorgeous inside. Now the decor matches the food!! This is my favorite place to eat in Aberdeen! I've had many different menu items, the most recent being veggie primavera. It was absolutely phenomenal, truly the best veggie primavera I've ever had! Friendly staff, quick lunches on weekdays that are fairly priced and delicious, you just can't go wrong here!

Great restaurant. Fancier ambience. Love the decor, paintings along one side of the room over bench style seats. And the light fixtures were gorgeous. Entree portion sizes are huge. Worth it. Had the Brisket Hash Bread Bowl.. Delicious. Malbec was good too.. Ended dinner with some Sake. Amazing time with great company
